Democrats: How would you react if Obama announced he was becoming a tea party republican?

I feel they would be encouraged because thats the only way the Republicans would work with him. He could hoodwink Republicans into thinking he`s becomeing one of them, then we would see real progress.

I'd say he certainly has a better chance of destroying the country as a Republican rather than as a Democrat. I'd also think "We've known this for two years, why is he suddenly announcing it now?"

Well, if he joins the Tea Party, then nobody would like him, because yes, the Tea Party does really hate America and wants to destroy it, except they are too blind with hate to see it is them that hate America and not Obama.
