How to stay warm in snow?

My family and I are planning a trip to visit a mountain with lots of snow. This will be my second time being in snow my entire life. I forgot just about how cold it was. How many layers or clothes do you recommend? And any tips on how to stay warm? (:

It depends on how inure you are to the cold, how cold it is, and how long you will be outside. A good layering would include the following:

    1. T-shirt and long johns

    2. Sweatshirt, preferably fleece

    3. Vest or Small Jacket

    4. Snowpants, Coveralls, and the like

    5. A good pair of Boots.

    6. A really good winter coat.

    7. Moccisons, or other gloves

    8. A good hat (try a Mad Bomber made with a rabbit pelt and with earflaps.)

Source(s): I live in minnesota, and I deer hunt. I get cold hunting deer. I do not like to get cold. I find the following above to work the best.

this is going to sound nuts and previous shaped, yet long johns(additionally commonly used as thermal undies) i've got self belief they're spoke of as paintings properly for this. they're skinny yet particularly heat and may be worn under popular outfits without being too cumbersome. they are going to make a individual warmer yet you will nevertheless % a effective heavy coat and issues too. there is not any averting that.
