Vets usually use a product called Pyrantel Poamote. Not sure if the spelling is right on the second word, sorry. Check to see if your product is the same because it can be bought over the counter. However there are parasites that can be in the stool that only the vet can test for. Take a fresh stool sample to your vet and ask them to run a fecal. That will tell you if there are any parasites or just worms and if so what type. If parasites are involved get the recommend tx from a vet, some parasites are contagious to you.

honestly go natural. i just gave my dog parsley water . it works like heaven!! also look into black walnut. its amazing and it builds up your dogs immune system NATURALLY so he can NATURALLY kill the worms. also garlic half a clove works best daily. for parsley water:

bring one quart(4 cups) of water to a boil

throw in a bunch of parsley ( remove MOST stems. but leave a quarter on each piece)

leave on medium for five mins. when done seperate the parsley with the water. throw out the parsley and keep all that water and keep in two seperate containers in a freezer. hours before giving "thaw" it out (i couldnt find the right word but till it melts) give the dog 1 teaspoon a day. you can mix it with food. its ok of the dog doesnt eat it all but what is consumed is satisfactory. this 1 quart is a months supply. i also hear carrots help a bit. give it a week and when the dog poops check if the worms are dead or not because this solution may have killed it but didnt cleanse it fully just yet. thankyou
