I feel like failure with girls?!?!?

Relax. That's the bottom line. I'm in a pretty similar situation to you, good grades, fairly athletic, and before high school I barely talked to girls. In high school I saw a greater variety of girls in my classes and activities and you gotta have those girls that you can talk to with it being awkward. Those are the girls that will help you develop communication skills with the opposite gender. Girls that I hung out with after school helped me get comfortable talking to girls, and I started having girlfriends on a pretty regular basis. Talk to girls more, get your confidence up. And when going for a girl, start on as low of a level as possible. Small talk, and work from there.

The best way to start a relationship is first by being friends. So relax for a while and don't think about finding a girlfriend. Find girls to be friends with, and it will happen naturally. It turns girls off when guys come on strong immediately. I was so attracted to my boyfriend at first because he was relaxed around me and respected me enough to get to know me, then pursue me later.

firstly i am a girl and sometimes i feel like its hard to talk to guys to but then i remember they are all the same if u talk to a girl talk to her in a way that you would talk to your friend but just not to rough laugh and smile a little cause thats what a girl likes act confident (does not mean be a stuck up) help her with home work making sure she gets it and your not just doing the work and u know what u will be on your way to have heaps friends!!! and if u keep being you (nice) self a girl will surly come around cause i know i would like that type of guy and heaps of my friends do to :D good luck

As a 17 year old girl, you sound perfect. I think you just need to be more confident!!! Take a risk in just talking to girls. The thing is, most girls don't want to make the first move so it's up to you. Girls like confident guys so you just need to be nice and start talking to more girls. Even if you aren't that attractive (Idk your situation) girls love confidence. It's easier said than done but go out and get a new outfit or something and that might help you gain confidence. Once you realize that girls like you then you will be even more confident and even more girls will start liking you!

The key to talking with girls, Is to make her feel comfy, Like she can be open with you..If all your friends have girlfriends, maybe you should try getting advice from them! Be open with the girl, it makes her feel like she can as well.

Become a girls friend first, it's less intimidating. Or ask one of your guy friends to help you. That special someone will come along!

2!!! dont go out with just any girl.. when you find that special someone approach her

3!!! when you approach her do it at a steady paste.. take time to get to know her and if you really like her compliment her and be yourself.. make her laugh also.. girls like guys that make them laugh..make her feel comfortable around you

(some ways to know she likes you;

- she blushes around you sometimes

- she laughs at your jokes even if there not that funny she still smiles and tries to laugh cutely)

- you catch her staring at you

- and if shes not shy shell even approach you and try to start conversation)

- say something like " um,,, i think your really cute, and i like you.. and um well i was wondering if we can go out sometime .. or get your number'

- ask her if she has a boyfriend but dont jump on it

dont worry what everyone else is like. if your rush trying to get a girlfriend it wont work. just be yourself,everyone else is taken. and be confident, girls can smell confidence i swear...
