The cause of the flood, was not Magic. To understand it, you would have to realize, that before the flood, the land mass on Earth was almost totally covering the Earth. Very little water. The continents were as one huge continent.
There was a fissure under the land, that went all around the Earth, like a scar. This opened up, and allowed the trapped water under the crust, to suddenly come up, with immense pressure. This shot up into the atmosphere, for miles...and then circled the Earth, and came down as rain. And it was very much water, that had been trapped under most of the Earth's crust.
As this water shot up with high pressure, it caused the land to buckle, as water left empty spot inside under the crust. As the pressure pushed up in some places, and was less in others, the land then started buckling, and this caused the other wise pretty flat land, to come UP as mountains... ranges popped up all over, as the land buckled. And also, it cause indentations and deep valleys, where the land mass sunk downwards.
The result was the creation of mountains, all over the world...and oceans, where the deep valleys had been formed.
Some of the water seeped back into the fissure, but it had closed up pretty much, trapping the water on land, and causing it to settle there. Being that the minerals under the crust were salt, the waters were also salty and thus we have our salt oceans. The water that then evaporates from them, go into the sky and return as salt free water, for all the creatures that need fresh water.
Many years after this happened, the continents, drifted apart, forming what is now the continents, and Atlantis was also formed. But it one day, returned to the depth, probably because of an earthquake.

If you google Robert Gentry, Nuclear Phycist..he has some interesting videos on the flood and how it may have happened. He was Atheist, until he did research on things, and changed his mind and became a Christian.

maybe, its totally possible. but then again the flood and atlantis might be two different historical events.
one thing i know from the bible is that mountains didnt exist like we seem them today. in fact the mountains in america might not have existed until the generation of jesus
the bible says the land was divided in the days of peleg, i think this is literally defining the term of pangea into the 7 continents we have now.
one story ive heard is that atlantis caused their own destruction while trying to develope their own doomsday bomb. since no seer or prophet has actually had a revelation from God, its all debateble.

No. According to Plato, Atlantis went up in flames and sunk beneath the sea, all in a single day.

Atlantis and the great flood all in one sentence. Do you even know how the story of Atlantis originated? What am I saying? You believe in the great flood, so clearly you don't do much thinking to begin with.

There is evidence for an island civilisation around 1,800 BC that was destroyed by a volcanic explosion, on the island of Thera in the Aegean Sea.
There is no evidence for, and a great deal of evidence against, any world covering flood at any time that humans have existed.

there was no "great flood" as described in the bibble, it's a myth. Similarly, there is little evidence for Atlantis. Most likely it existed in Greece and was lost to sea level rise
