Am I supposed to feel like this after sex?

I have been with my boyfriend over a year now, and we are very in love. We have recently made love for the first time, and many times since. We absolutely cannot get pregnant right now so we said we would stop the sex. But he knows just where to kiss me to get me in the mood, even if I've already told him no. So beforehand, and even during, I am happy with my decision to make love to him. But once it is over, I feel regret, and sadness even. It really makes me sad because he doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with me afterwards (meaning within the same night). He just turns on the tv and almost ignores me. If I try to cuddle with him or kiss him he doesn't cuddle or kiss back, but just ignores me. I don't know if this is normal or if this is how I'm supposed to feel. Thanks.
