Can you help us figure out a reasonable amount to pay the Valet?
So, my family is used to staying in hotels without bell men and all that, so we need help with knowing how much to tip the Valet? Do we pay when he drops it off, or when we pick it up? And what would be a reasonable amount to pay? Thank you so much for your help!!!! :)

Normally you pay when you pick up the car.
Some hotels have free parking and others add the parking fee to your room costs.
Anything from $2 to $5 is okay.

For a hotel, the parking fee is usually charged to your room. You tip the valet a couple of $ when they return the car.
Highly recommend that you don't leave anything of value in the car. Valets have the keys and all the time in the world to check out the car. Had bad experiences with hotel valets.
