Why is it that the only place anyone asks about Beats heaphones is in the Rap & Hip Hop section?
I keep seeing people asking about all these crappy fashion accessory headphones but they are all in the Hip Hop section. Why is that?

Because they are endorsed by Dr. Dre. They are very "in" right now. I've never listened through them, but I assume they are smiley faced equalized with much bass and high end. More of a fashion statement I assume. I've noticed it used everywhere on tv, American Idol etc.
