ipod wont charge or connect to computer?
i have a 4th gen ipod touch, just recently i tried to plug it in and it wont say its charging and when i plug it in to the computer nothing happens. i know its not the cord, because ive tried using multiple cords. the ipod does charge though, just very very slowly, like it will go up 20% overnight if left plugged in, but it still says its not charging. the ipod was jailbroken, but ive never had this problem before, i want to do everything possible so i dont have to reset it, because it isnt backed up. it wont even let me update to the new software.
what can i do? ive already tried holding home and power, and resetting it.
sorry restarting, not resetting.

you may have problem with your USB port..try to checkit out with others computer using the same cord

If you understand any one who had a identical device, are attempting borrowing it first... Before you purchase a new wire. At the least you can understand by some means. If it really works then purchase the wire, if now not... Try cleaning your ports? :)
