sleep at 7pm every night and get up at 10:50 pm
weekends i do not work but get up at 6am and study untill 10am and eat then go to the library untill 6pm and go home to study some more .
Sacrificing sleep to become successful and no time for a girlfriend ,no time for friends or family and giving up every thing not related to work or studying.
its an exhausting lifestyle , and i always said sleep can go .its not important to me now.
The desire to feel like i am not a loser drives me. I don't know if that's the healthiest thing—to be motivated by a fear of hating yourself, but it helps.
At the end of the day if a fail I will know i did every thing in my power to get out of poverty and move on to a job that will go some wear .
When you want to succeed, as bad as you want to breath, then you will be successful.

Without reading your novel, long-term sleep-deprivation won't kill you per se, but the physiological effects will weaken your immune system and something else like pneumonia sure will. Sleep is when your body literally recharges and repairs, and if you're young it's the only time you grow and develop. You are considered young and still growing and developing until the age of about 25, not 18 like everyone seems to think.
Source(s): I'm a biologist who did more than one research study about sleep in college. I think I might know a thing or two about it. ;) - Bradley PLv 78 years ago
It's a bit of both, to be honest. Some jobs--particularly military ones--may demand this of you from time to time.
But in the long-term it isn't sustainable. You're going to kill your health. Every hour of sleep you ditch will cause you to gain 5 pounds now and 10 more once you're past 30. Seriously--one thing you do to stay awake is eat more empty calories to compensate. Sleeping, along with music, is also one of the things you need to regain your focus and willpower. It just isn't healthy to go without like that for more than a few months at a time.
I hear you though. This world is what it is--and it often demands the unhealthy and impossible just so you can work for a living. I hear you--and good luck to you.
Source(s): The irony of it is, you'll sleep less as you get older, you know, once people expect you to retire (or give up). - MusicxoxoLv 78 years ago
