    That is a bat-eared fox. This is a zoo photo, and in fact, appears to have been taken at the Denver Zoo in the same enclosure that used to be for the Coatimundi.

    If you do a Yahoo search for "Denver Zoo bat-eared fox", you will find two photos taken inside the same exhibit of the bat-eared fox and it's mate sitting side by side at this same location. The artificial rocks in the background are very easily distinguishable.

    It could be a Bat-eared fox, but a Bat-eared fox lives in the African savannas, so unless this picture was taken from Africa it can't be a Bat-eared fox. But there is a possibility that it is a Kit fox of North America.

    A bat-eared fox. They are mammals that live in the African plains, and feed on insects.
