How come Liberals claim to be open minded but..?

Well, let's see, when you stereotypically lump every single person that doesn't believe exactly what you believe a "liberal" rather than seeing others as merely people, that's a pretty bad start. Being open minded does not mean you can't have a backbone, it doesn't mean that anyone has to take condescending jargon and insults from you dimply because you call yourselves conservative.

Why do all of the self-described conservatives I meet have such insecurity problems that they think every single person that isn't of the exact same mentality must be some kind of fascist/socialist/communist, they must be on welfare, and they must just absolutely want your tax money to pay for abortions?

You want an open minded conversation, tell all of the self-described conservatives (not a broad generalization, not lumping every person with conservative leanings into this) to open their minds in like and try to speak without garbage and made up insults spewing from their mouths.

People, no matter how they lean, get angry when a person accuses everyone that isn't like themselves of being socialists and calls them some variation of the word "retard". Act like adults (you're 16, you shouldn't even be worried about this) and have a real conversation instead of playing the victim all the time.

Actually I am Liberal and my best friend is Texan.

Everyone I've met from Texas talks and sounds just like Dolly Paton or Slim Pickens. Instead of repeatably saying, 'You Know, You Know' like all American tourist do at the end of every sentence. Texans and Alabamans all say 'Yall', that's how we tell difference if an American tourist is from the north or south.

Lots of American expats from Texas live in Australia.

It doesn't help when some one calling themselves "Texas girl" continues to spout and behave in a stereotypical fashion.

Wow. I spout hate at the south, but not Texans. Texans are cool in my book. I have met some really cool people from Texas. Hard liberal born and raised from California. :)

If you question a liberal, you must be racist. Your from that God forsaken Texas? You are a racist! (sarcasm!) You go Texas Girl! =) It's wrong how they claim if you disagree with anything they say you are racist. It's the "go to" excuse, when they have nothing else.
