Voluntary Car Repossesion Wells Fargo (in Canada now)?

What are some costs I'm looking at? Wells told me I could take my car to Canada from US; my wife got a job there and we are both originally Canadian. Whether it was a mistake or not, I was told they'd get me some form so I an register the vehicle in Canada and I naively drove from LA to NS Canada (across the whole continent, just under 4k miles). Once here in Canada I find out they only faxed permission to bring the car, not register it (Canada would need the title under our name, not the banks) OOPS. Nobody will buy a US car in Canada since there are so many fees involved with passing tests, daytime running lights, etc up to 2.5k in fees/taxes and we don't have the title, Wells Fargo USA does so we can't trade it into a dealership in Canada because it's not registered in Canada....we're 2 days drive from the border. The wells account managers out of L.A. know me well now as I was on the phone with them every couple days for 6 weeks trying to do this country change properly and not once did they say "you can't take it to Canada" or "we can't give you the title" instead the DRAGGED MY NAIVE *** ALONG making it seem like I'd get the forms I need to register in Canada. What will happen if I tell them to come get it, almost 4,000miles from Los Angeles. I know we'll pay their loss at auction, which could be 4-7k (we owe 15,200 - 2010 Esape XLT, 'keyed' along passenger side panels) BUT will they charge for coming to Canada to get it? Shipping back to L.A? CLEANING? Taxes?? Credit & Collections in USA can't cross I to Canada but we'd rather do what's right. The car is not registered anymore (expired) so we 'could' get Cali DMV to renew at $300 ship stickers here, drive 2 days to Maine and try and sell it there, pay our loss to bank OR try and work something out with the guys who led me down this rabbit hole and do a risky voluntary repossesion from EAST coast Canada to west coast USA?!?!?!

It will ruin your credit for one thing. Second think who in their right mind would EVER think they would get the title when they haven't paid off the car to begin with? No one. Look in the mirror for fault you did not do enough homework. Why did you never ask point blank about the registeration instead of ASSuming?
