What is wrong with my fish?

Its been fine until recently its just been sitting at the bottom of the tank and not really moving, the only time it really moves, it goes up to the top, opens its mouth, then goes back to the bottom (it also does this if i tap the glass), however the 5 other fish in the tank are perfectly normal, and swimming around happily, and im not sure what fish it is because i got them from a friend at christmas, is it okay or is it sick?

Update:

i do a water change about once a week, i filter the water (they are freshwater) with some fish cleaner liquid my friend gave me and there is a stone in there, but theres about 2 big fish (about 2 inches), 3 medium (1inch) and 2 small (under an inch) im not sure the name of the fish because i got them from a friend (who i will text now to ask the names) but its one of the bigger ones, its like a greyish colour?

Update 2:

Its a dwarf gourami

Well, gouramis can breath from the surface so he may just be grabbing a bit of air. As for sitting on the bottom, without a lot more info on what the other fish are, or the water parameters, etc it's hard to say.
