Yup! it's over, although I'm kinda hoping for another season or maybe a new series that still have all the characters in Merlin. I hope they'll just rename it so it would be a brand new series, that they'll still stick to the Medieval Era. The rumors are that Bradley James didn't want to continue to season 6 that's why the series ended (ofcourse! he's the main character).. I heard that they would be doing a movie.. That's all I know..

It is over sadly, I'm sad, I am a Merlin fan. but it wasn't just Bradley who didn't want to continue, it was other members of the cast as well.
I was so sad when Arthur died, I didn't want it to end like that, he was my fav character. But, on the last episode, the dragon said that Arthur would return in Avalon's greatest time of need, so I secretly hoped there would be another season, but there isn't. *cries*

Yep, it's over. Since the beginning, the show was planned to be 5-seasons long. The writers had it planned that way from the start and the cast knew it all along as well.

lack of ratings because i believe the show isn't that well written but has still got a big cult following though.
