Vacation for children under 25 years old. I need help!?

My friends and I came up with a small plan to rent a house for spring break in the outer banks. We soon found out this plan would ultimately fail because many places are very hesitant to rent to people under 25 years old ecspecialy because we wouldn't even be 21, or even 18. So we need a new idea. We are looking for a place to stay anyway from 3-7 days. And at least 10 people would be participating in this. We are looking for a place not to far from the beach, east coast, and this would take place either during spring break or summer vacation.

Would anyone have any suggestions on where to go? Keep in mind it's not so much where we stay, but we are looking more toward the activities we could do.

I'm aware this is very specific but any ideas or links would be much appreciated.

Thank you YAHOO ANSWERS COMMUNITY!!!! :)

Ten people under the age of 18...renting a place without parental supervision?

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

Good luck with that sweetie. Talk about an insurance risk. No property owner I know would be willing to take that chance. ESPECIALLY during spring and summer breaks. Both are "prime time" in renting properties. It's more expensive, and property owners want older people they can sue if there's damage.

Unless you know someone with property - you are out of luck.

You could do some "stay-cation" things in your own city.

You could do some volunteer work. Some charities take trips to different places.

You could go to the movies, steal some beer and break the bottles in an abandoned alley.

You could get an inflatable kiddie pool, fill it with Jello and have wrestling matches with your friends.

You might try some local campgrounds to see what their age restrictions are. There are a bunch of them in Colonial Beach, Virginia. This town has the second-longest public beach in Virginia, and there are a lot of things to do like watching cars race at the Dragstrip, kayak rentals, charter fishing, pier fishing, swimming, hiking, beach volleyball and there are a ton of great restaurants to chill out at and get some good food.

NO ONE will rent to anyone under 21 during spring break. plus you cannot rent a car until you are 25 anyway.

    under 18?! will NEVER happen.
