Why can't fanatic vegans just be vegans and leave people that eat meat out of it?

Its my choice to eat a natural human diet. I don't care what you eat or what lifestyle you choose, so why do you care about mine?

This question is obviously aimed at fanatic vegans that want to make eating meat illegal and want to push their views onto everyone.

I love how people here suggest non vegans are "trolling" just because they have a different opinion.

Last time I checked this was a open forum where everyone's opinion is welcome and no one except the people at yahoo have any divine right to say otherwise.

To try and answer your question while keeping that "open mind" most vegans talk about I have found that the radicals are too ignorant and narrow minded to care about what they are doing going so far as to post childish rants and dubious (at best) "facts" with no evidence or sources to back up said facts.

These people are like hardcore religious minority's (Westboro Baptist Church comes to mind) no matter how much they hurt their cause by screaming and shouting it in peoples faces and giving every tolerant vegan a bad name they just have to be heard and whatever you say is wrong.

Feral lover, Leaf, Happy Hippy, Mermaid, Vegan Valentine and a few others remind me of a quote.

"Those who shout the loudest have the weakest argument."

If you really want to know why and aren't simply looking for vegans to acknowledge this fault, I'll try to explain from the perspective of a vegan.

    UNDERSTANDING DIFFERENCES

Why can't everyone else be like oneself? This frustrates many people. Humans don't understand how other people can't see how ridiculous they're being. People should put more effort into understanding other people's actions even though it's human nature to be annoyed when a different lifestyle is in your face.

    MORE THAN A LIFESTYLE

Some vegans push their views on everyone because they believe it's necessary to save lives. If you believed that systematic murder was happening unnoticed, wouldn't you speak up? If you truly believed this, you would fight your hardest to stop it.

It's not simply a difference of opinion for vegans that view the meat and related industries as the torture and mass genocide of creatures with as much intelligence and emotion as small children. It's no argument that a vegan diet is a healthy, possible option; it's simply how much the individual values all life. If you don't value animal life, you see no problem with killing them in much the same way a sociopath has no problem killing humans. I'm not accusing you of being callous! I'm just saying that value is totally subjective, and vegans are delusional cultists for wanting to save the lives of animals when it's unnecessary to kill them.

    THE NATURAL HUMAN DIET

Also, humans don't have *a* natural diet. They're the only animals that don't have a set diet. Historically, humans have only eaten small amounts of meat, however, and are not designed to handle the large amounts that people eat to day. The nutrients in the small amount of meat the body thrives the most on are easily found in plant sources.

You can understand those that are different than you, if you try. Even if they're really annoying, they're not hurting anyone and are actually using their time to improve the world. How many people do that? Let me understand you now; why does this anger you so much? You think it's cocky to feel morally superior?

it rather is like asking why are some Muslims and Christians militant? some human beings have self assurance their ideals are the only authentic ones and that promotes extremism. that's authentic everywhere hat ideals and thoughts are intense. exceedingly on the grounds that vegans see the dying and torture of animals and tend to no longer recognize the way it rather is available to enable something like that take place and not care. regarding the musician, he's a musician. I examine someplace i think of Jennifer Lopez would not enable any of the workers to look her is the eyes or confer together with her at the same time as she's making waiting. maximum celebrities have loopy s*** that they request, his is in simple terms veg*n. i think of there is one celebrity that I examine won't enable absolutely everyone fantastically to artwork for or round her, i assume she needs to be the only fantastically one and demands gruesome human beings to be employed. lower back, it rather is barely loopy celebrities. no longer all human beings are like that. i'm a vegan yet i've got self assurance that till somebody chooses to bypass veg*n, they won't in any respect shop on with it and in he end it rather is counterproductive. i think of training is the final thank you to decide for long term replace, and not fantastically plenty animal rights yet additionally meals and environmental advantages. Extremism will turn human beings off and that they gained't even enable themselves to pay attention any suggestions (like that musician, you heard approximately his severe movements and now could be became off from the entire veg*n message).

I've never had a vegan say anything to me about my diet of eating meat. Perhaps you just have an abrasive personality and attract comments from crazies? Maybe if you just kept to yourself you wouldn't have a problem.

Sorry DH. This questions gets asked most by you. You should have gotten an answer on of the other times you asked. Time to learn to live with it. Better for you to adapt and move on than be an itch on the bug hole of life.

Your lifestyle is unsustainable and harmful to our natural resources. Cows raised for meat are a major source of greenhouse gases, especially methane. It takes far more water to produce a pound of meat than a pound of non-meat with equal nutrition - waste. And as if all that weren't enough, meat consumption is not in any way necessary.

It sounds like you're less interested in the facts of the matter than you are in attacking people with dissenting views, though.

Because they are idiots with no life. I've never met a vegan in real life like that. It seems like some of the vegans on here like to push their beliefs on people. I bet in real life they would be too scared to say that to a person's face.

I guess for the same reason that meat eaters insist on trolling this forum when its purpose is for information sharing by those who do not eat meat.

    Go figure.

They do, unlike people in congress (who'd gladly pass laws allowing a company to label a product "vegan" falsly). vegabns for the most part don't bother anyone else.

Source(s): Why are you so insecure with your diet you have to troll the V&V section?

Because they like to start drama. Seriously it's pathetic telling someone they can't eat what they want. Whats funny is that all their 'arguments' generally backfire on them. The only one that is legit is the fact that they just don't want to eat meat, which is their choice, just like it's mine to eat it.
