How do I get a temporary drivers license?

In california. I lost my drivers license but I still have my old one.

Do I just go to DMV and do the shizz?

    Regardless of state, you are allowed one license, so if you have an "old one" it isn't valid. If you are a resident of CA you go to the DMV and tell them your license is lost, and they will tell you what you need to do to replace it.

    Yeah, just go to the DMV and say you lost your license. They'll give you a temporary one and mail you a new one later.
