Absolutely... in fact I just saw 50 of them in the last half hour (we have a chicken house / yard).
We have
- 30 Rhode Island Reds
- 5 Philippine Natives
- 5 Phoenix (German breed)
- 5 Blue Andalusian (Spanish breed)
- 5 California Greys (a cross between Plymouth Barred Rocks and Leghorn Whites)
The small groups are the result of our daughter's FFA / 4-H projects in high-school... that have continued onward.

Yes, my grandparents had a chicken farm. When I was little, I would chase around the chickens with my cousin. :)

yes. my grandmother has chickens on a farm (in a different country) and when i was 8 we went to go visit. i would chase them, and i caught them, and put them on my uncle who was sleeping on the hammock. boy did he have a surprise when he woke up....
