You're eager to please because you believe in yourself and your abilities. That's a good thing.
You feel indignified when the expected response to your helpfulness does not match what you anticipated. That brings you down and you take it personally. It's hard not to do.
Open yourself up to be okay with doing what you feel you should do, what you want to do, what you feel would be helpful to others. Do it. Then allow yourself to feel good about what you've done, not other's reaction to what you've done.
You are not a fool, nor are you mad. You simply need to allow yourself to feel free and good enough for a long enough period of time, so you can see your project through. What others think and say does not matter. They are thoughts and words, that's it. Alone, they fade into the air like a puff of smoke. if you don't dwell on a puff of smoke, don't dwell on anything other than your good actions.
