    Close loop when the computer uses information coming from the sensors, instead of preprogrammed values in the computer. It can't be fixed, rebuilt, replaced, or removed... ever.

    There is no such thing as a 4.8L Ford engine in a Ranger. You probably mean the 4.0L?

    Insufficient coolant tomperature is usually cause by low coolant level, or a defective thermostat.
