Does guitar center fix violin strings?!?
You see one of my strings snapped when I was trying to tune it and I don't know how to repair it so I was planning to go to a local music shop to fix it for me but does guitar center fix violin strings?

Besides not having much choice in strings when you go to a general music store like The Guitar Center, you might just end up with Guitar or Mandolin strings installed instead. I have removed countless non-violin strings that were installed at general music stores. If you don't have a violin shop near you, order some strings from an online source like Shar Music and have the teacher install them. Ask the teacher for a recommendation of brand.

You can't repair a violin string that snapped. You need a new one.
Guitar Center may have some beginner violin strings lying around but don't count on them to have any more than the basics. It's not a violin store.

There are millions of ways you can fix it. Strings break all the time in ALL stringed instruments. If you know how to attach a string yourself, go to any music store and buy some new strings which are suitable for the exact string you broke. If you are unsure of what kind of strings to buy, just ask for help at the music store and if you tell them the string you broke and the specifications of your violin, they will be able to allocate you the correct strings to buy. Strings are very cheap. If you don't know how to install strings on a violin, take the pack of strings to your violin teacher (if you have one) and ask him/ her to attach the strings for you. You could also take the violin into an instrument repairer and pay for him/ her to fix it, but this will cost a lot more than buying your own strings and attaching it to the violin.

well, i dont think you can possibly fix a string, but you can surely buy new strings there, that I have no doubt of, if you dont know how to re string your violin, they will probably charge you like 5 bucks to restring them for you, but I recommend buying them on your own, just make sure you buy the right sized ones, depending on the size of your violin, l think 4/4 violin is the most common size, and learn how to string your violin on your own, im sure you could learn how to do it on youtube, you wont really risk anything if you try it yourself, and the more you know about your own instrument, the wiser you will spend your money to maintain it
