is there a required age to get a motel room?

i'm going to the mountains with some friends and we're 16 and 17. are we going to able to get a cheap room in colorado? we don't have credit cards either.

    The minimum age for any hotel/motel is 18 and many hotels/motels require 21 years old for check in.

    You need to have a credit card on file usually, that's how most Colorado hotels are :)

    18 y old. There are some places where they don't need credit card or deposit but u don't wants bring bugs home with u.
