Is there a way to use my motherboard VGA without disabling my GPU?

I am looking to upgrade my GPU, but many of them do not have VGA connectors. My motherboard does, however. Is there a way in the BIOS, etc.. to connect my VGA monitor using the motherboard connections, but still enable and use the a new GPU's power?

My stuff:

ASUS P8Z77-V PRO

Intel Core i5-3570K

Invest the $5 in a VGA to DVI/HDMI adapter.

You can connect your monitor to the vga output and from your desktop switch your vga as the main output, but as far as transferring your gpu power to your vga adapter, no it can't be done traditionally. Another thing you can do is set up dual monitors with your onboard and your card. Thats how i have my rig set up, so i can take tutorials and such with a program and have the video/webpage open together. It's very convenient that way.

the main considerable question is the your vga port is disable , the 1st answer must be precise extra cutting-edge mobo might in simple terms disable the intergrated image card while a discrete image card is hook up , older motherboards might desire to head to the bios to disable it or with the aid of the gadget supervisor , and confident could of got here along with your image card a dvi to vga adapter
