pluperfect subjunctive passive in latin!?
How would I translate the word portarer, in other words what does it actually mean? I know that it is the pluperfect subjunctive passive but that is all. Could someone put it in a sentence for me and translate it... that would really help. Thanks

portarer - imperfect passive subjunctive
There are several ways to translate imperfect subjunctive, depending on the context. Here are a few:
*** portarer - when I was (being) carried
ut portarer - in order to be carried, that I was carried
ne portarer - to avoid being carried
ut non portarer - that I was not carried
si portarer - if I were carried
Pluperfect passive subjunctive would be "portatus essem".
