Do you think that Windows 8 is the worst product Microsoft has ever put out?

They liked it so much that they fired the guy responsible, after all!

You cannot possibly tell what the worst Microsoft-product is. It is like visiting the sewer to decide which piece of crap smells the worst by sniffing at each of them. You will have a terrible time and never find out. Just give yourself a break and get out of the sewer.

My first experience of windows 8 was a couple of weeks ago and first impressions were it's horrible it's ugly hard to navigate and the screen cluttered Microsoft have really out done themselves this time by removing the task bar and trying to force people to use touch screen

I thought Windows ME and Windows Vista were rubbish but to be honest they're great O/S's when compared to Windows 8

so I'd say it was the worst product MS have released so far and not only the guy who was responsible should should be fired but his entire team as well

I wonder if Microsoft can out do themselves by releasing anything worse than windows 8 but knowing MS's record it shouldn't take long

I played with the Preview Copy a couple times over the past year. No idea what the Final Release turned out to be but want nothing to do with it. Even bought 2 OEM copies of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit in case I want to build another computer. Might even buy a third or a retail copy. Want to build another computer. Do not know if or when I will but am afraid that if I do I will get stuck with Windows 8. It is worth it to have these lying around, not use them, and take a beating for a few bucks selling them on Craigslist then to get stuck having to use Windows 8. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

I still have windows 7. I have only seen the online samples of windows 8 and based on that, I have no interest in trying it. I hate the way it looks on the screen.

I have also seen too many posts on here with people having issues with windows 8. I realize that any new system sometimes has issues to be worked out and that is why micro soft puts out updates on a regular basis, but I just think that windows 8 is too ugly to put up with any new system glitches it may have.

Naw, there have been a lot worse. Windows 8 is easy to fix for people who don't like the start screen. A simple start menu replacement program like Start8 does the trick for most people.

The person who came up with the tiles was actually the lady who was the second in command of the guy in charge of the project. She's the boss now so I'd expect the tiles to be around for a while yet.

It's nearly as bad as Windows ME was.

They should pull it off the market and give refunds. Too many systems it is not compatible with.

It might be, I am still trying to decide if it is worse than Vista or ME, both total disasters.
