When guys tease someone?

He is probably gay/bi and into you. And you cannot know he's straight only because he is straight-acting - there are millions of manly gay guys who pretend to be straight and date girls in their teen years (some even longer).

Maybe you should show some discreet interest in him and see how he reacts.

He might, but you can't tell -- however, yes he might. Let it happen, sometimes tickle him back if his macho friends aren't around. If he does like you he is TERRIFIED of anyone, including you, especially you - finding out, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like you. It very much sounds like he does. Enjoy it for what it is, don't try to make it more and if he ever does make it more (I remember one friend who was much like that, but who I thought the world of -- and then one day when we were 14 I think, and in private, which we usually weren't, he locked the door, dropped his pants and just said "please" -- and there it was, quite glorious. One never forgets that type of thing. We are still friends, although we only did "those things" for a while (my first b/f knew it was happening - it wasn't cheating parse), a few years, and he got married and has been very happy with his wife, but he still remembers it fondly sometimes, as do I -- and we still talk occasionally all these years later.) then act on it Life is much more complex than you think at your age, generally. Enjoy his attention, don't push it - you never know what will happen and don't ever expect more than he can give. There are pressures in his life too, a LOT of them, he's doing the best he can.

You are male? Yes guys tease the girls they like. I remember in grade 7 in technology class the guys would endlessly tease my one friend. She was a pretty girl with long black hair to her bum and blue eyes. Especially the one guy, Ryan, would tease her. Now they are all grown up and she and Ryan are good friends. I always knew he liked her, ha ha I always know these things...but she really couldn't figure it out.
