Help!!! Frozen breast milk...?
So I have pumped about 30 ounces in the past week. And I stored it all in 3 different breast milk baggies but I heard that I should only freeze in portions that the baby would eat. Would the breast milk still be good if I defrosted it all and re-sorted it in many baggies? It's only been a week. And some a couple days ago. Would the nutrients be lost?

Freezing in small quantities is an excellent idea but once your milk has been frozen you can't defrost it and then refreeze it.
Just leave alone what you have already frozen and use this for baby when they are starting to wean or are eating larger meals that still require your milk.
I froze my milk in ice cube trays and then, once frozen, put them into a bag for use later.

Do not thaw and refreeze breastmilk, and use it within 24 hours of thawing.. At this point, you do not have many choices.
30 ounces of excess milk per week is an awful lot of milk to be pumping. Is there a reason that you feel the need to pump so much within a short period of time? Most women pump only once or twice a day. Excessive pumping can cause later problems with your breasts.

Just like meat products, you cannot freeze, thaw and freeze breastmilk again...
I suggest from now on you freeze it in smaller portions and as far as what's done is done amd you'll have to thaw an entire bag at a time and dump some if baby doesn't use it within a day of being thawed and in the fridge..
