Add that poerson's email address you the blocked senders list found in your Mail Options.

You can block their address this way>>
Mail page>>options (top right)>>maill options (if available)>>block addresses (under Spam Protection).
Enter that exact address and then click "add block".
Future mail from that address will be deleted immediately upon arriving at your account---you'll never see it.
However, the sender is NOT notified that they have been blocked. As far as they know---you're still getting their emails. HA---the joke's on them.

If you don't want to receive email from a certain email address, person or domain, you can block it in Yahoo! Mail.
