why don't liberals ever look at Greece and Italy before they spend like crazy?

Greek problems arose because the high earner end of the populace pretty much viewed taxes as optional. Further to this, the party in control when the recession bit was the furthest leaning right party in Greece. If you are going to use examples, try and make sure you are aware of the circumstances leading up to those examples. If you don't you could end up looking a bit, you know, silly.

Austerity tanked France, Greece, Ireland and Spain. Yet connies want to cut spending when the government is the only one willing to invest in our damaged economy. Brilliant.

How about ice land? Canada? Pretty much all of northern europe? And democrats could pay for those programs if the GOP would let them raise taxes by 1% on the super rich.

Why dont you look at countries like Canada and Australia before accusing liberalism of doing this?

They think it is caused by bankers, when the country and people were dumb enough to actually agree to all of the plans + they secretly hid all their true debts.
