Our religion is usually determined by geography. Would you agree or disagree with that statement?

No. It is more driven by an individual concern for Truth and pleasing God in the way he approves.

Observe this prophecy being fulfilled today. "because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. 13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." (Matt. 24:12-14) This shows external pressures cause those who are not firmly rooted in the Truth of God fall away when conditions changed. Only those who remain faithful, either until death or end of this wicked system will be saved.

Lastly, #14 shows a great ministry to be done world wide, in all nations. Geography then has very little to do with where correctly hearted people are located. If they truly love the God of the Bible, they will recognize "the ring of truth" apart from the lies of false religion when they hear them.

Those merely adopting the religion of parents have little real regard for God. Just for avoiding problems by going along to get along.

For the most part, yes. Though with religious tolerance (slowly) spreading throughout the world and with people now moving all over the world that is less true. There a lot of muslims in the UK now for example. 1,000 years ago during the Crusades if you were born in the UK you were christian.(period) No muslims from the middle east would move to the UK during that time, because they would have been killed. So yes, historically geography (as in what part of the world you just happened to be born in) was the primary determining factor in one's religion.

Way back when it was the 'settling age' where the founders had originated surely, but it soon won't become a geographical factor once the ideas themselves and not the missionaries are spreading. Of course the insecure leaders that find no merit in their own religion would continue sending missionaries in regions and areas where the idea they are selling is not public knowledge (or can be obtained from it).

    Absolutely!

If you live on earth and a missionary has come to your location, you probably have some Information about christianity crammed down your throats by force.

If you live on remote , like the antarctic or dense jungle, then missionaries probably haven't gotten to you yet and you can believe in your animist superstitions and hocus-pocus instead of theirs.

If you live in Europe, chances are your grandparents were Catholic or Some protestant mix and now you are atheists.

If you live in a communist country you probably are jewish or an underground religion or at least pretend to be an atheist.

    So,yes.

Disagree. It's determined by the parents.

    Disagree

I would say religion is influenced by culture, which is part of geography, but not determined, per se

Well, I agree ... kindasorta. The religion we are raised around is often determined by geography. But at some point, one (hopefully) examines the teachings they've been raised to believe and form their own opinion.

    It depends on your Shepard.

3500+ The Torah and The Veda's.

The Veda's gave rise to Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism and Zen Buddhism.

Of which enlightened people have become saviors, deliverers, and redeemers.

    Jesus saved mankind from Adam.

Adam: 1. The first man in Hebrew tradition.

    2. Unregenerate human nature = Human frailty.

The first man of the Bible who sinned in the Garden of Eden.

Unregenerate: adj: Not regenerated: Not renewed in heart: Remaining or being at enmity with God:

Unrepentant < Sounded a warning of what science could do if it became the mere servant of unregenerate human nature – Roy Lewis & Angus Maude. >

    Yes.

I noticed some people disagreed with you for specific reasons. They didn't noticed that you used the word 'usually'.

Generally speaking, most people are follow the leaders. Some of us dance to a different tune and decide for ourselves what we wish to claim!
