Atheists: Do you not realise how good you have it in Western Christian nations?
As a Christian, I find it ridiculous how Western Atheists constantly moan about how supposedly bad they have it... how discriminated against they feel. It's laughable really. Atheists, why don't you thank God that you live in Christian nations rather than islamic ones? Do you not realize how good you have it? Why do you bite the hand that feeds you?
Also, why do you criticize Christianity (religion which teaches to love your enemies... forget later catholic perversions) but almost never criticize islam?
You guys should really experience full blown islamic extremism on a 24/7 basis.

Those building are almost as laughable as the buildings used by our fearless ignorant leaders voted into public office to represent the interests of the estates of the ignorant masses who then slam the door turn down the blinds and hold secret private "G20" meetings etc where they discuss the course of future actions to which the mob will be subjected to fund with their labour and resources.
I also like the constant usage of " well our country is no longer really good but its still better than the rest " lol thats called cognitive dissonance lol for example its like saying "im covered to the chest in excrement but that guy over there is covered to the neck so im doing pretty good"
Sorry to burst your bubble but the laws of our christian forefathers that were instituted to protect Our God given rights to Life Liberty and Property have been swept assunder by the very people that were elected to uphold them and it was made possible by the ignorance, disreguard of the great laws of the realm, fear, and the passiveness of the people.
Like common people a democracy?????????? wtf is that??? hes an example of democracy theres 9 guys and one women and their going to have a vote on what their going to be doing tonight.........
Wasnt america a republic under the rule of law according to the common law found in the king james bible? Yes yes i know youve been taught that the bible had nothing to do with the constitution or the rule of law and that the common law is based on presedence of earlier cases but before you go regurgitating falicies please read where the common law came from, go to the library of congress online and read the books found in the libraries of our founding fathers maybe read some commontaries on the common law like the blackstone commontaries.
Anyways it hardly matters anymore. Christians who claim to have morals have forgotten the laws of God and are studiously following the will of a one world government just as vigorously as Atheisist are.
The laws of God are scorned as a breach of human rights and an affront to the freedom that americans should enjoy.
And so now Homosexual's enjoy the freedom of Legal marriage and with the help of the media have won the right to LEGALLY adopt children, and our morrally and financially bankrupt nation views this as victory we no longer let outdated neanderthal custums dictate the morality of our democracy.
And so now the door is wide open to "sexually diverse" individuals and when i hear even one ignorant ********* try to impose on the freedom of an incestual couple like a father and a son who is of age and who love each other and just want to be LEGALLY MARRIED and adopt kids aswell, then i will be sure to tell any individual who would impose their OUTDATED MORALS against incests to crawl back to the hole they dug for themselves and that WE ARE ALL EQUAL UNDER THE LAW and that to be legally married so they can be recognized as such in the law and adopt kids is their absolute right.
And i would tell the christians who look to a man wearing a dress who went to a semetary for 7 years to be sure he is fully indoctrinated in the traditions of men and who make void the laws of God with their doctrines and traditions to go back to the hand that feeds them!!
One of my personally favorites is from the pulpit parrots to the pew dwellers
" dont worry my children if the civil governments take your tax dollars and use them to murder babies and put sanctions on iraq that starve innocents or if they completely disreguard God in all that they do, if they set up a one world government with your money and your labour dont worry God will not hold you Accountable for this."
Well again sorry to burst your bubble but if you fear the wrath of your government so much that you would rather pay your tribute even if they do murder in your name with it then guess what YOU ARE GUILTY OF MURDER. .
but you say!! JC said we have to pay our tribute to ceaser ah ha!! no no read it again without the pulpit parrot whispering in your ear my friend.. The pharisees were trying to trap JC in his words and have him killed with that question thats why they brought the roman cops ( herodians) with them. Whose face and whose inscription was on that coin? "Tiberius ceaser son of the divine augustus" thats right the ceasers claimed to be God on earth.. What was due ceaser for that? JC just exposed to hypocricy of the elders and scribes once again. just shortly after JC was charged with (luke 13) "stirring up the people calling himself king telling them not to pay tribute to ceaser" and nailed to a cross for insurection the hebrew people fought 2 wars with ceaser and ceaser crushed them. So i can understand the little brown stains which appear in your trousers at any hint of refusing to follow the civil authorities every whim.

I don't suppose you think dead atheists can do all that moaning can you?
The nation, with respect, lacking polarity (and with a majority of Christians) have nothing to do with its less vitriol and censure to atheists and nonreligious; its the secularism and concept of freedom ascertained by the Constitution gives us some leisure either unheard of or not well protected in other nations.
I also criticise Islam on a daily basis, mostly in part due to active Muslims bringing it up.

Salam,
I am not an atheist, but i am a Muslim, and wallahi I am very sad that you say this, I used to go to a Christian language school when i used to live in Egypt, I had quite a few Christian friends, and the Christians who used to go to school with me were treated equally by the Muslims, but although i have not visited Egypt in over 4 years, I can tell you this, If it were up to me the Christians in my country should be respected and be a part of society as a total and utter equal, I know that there are some people out there who abuse their power when it comes to this subject, but wallahi this is NOT Islam, you cannot judge a religion on the acts of people, you judge a religion by what it's scriptures say, and the Qur'an says there is no compulsion in religion, as a Christian living in a Muslim state you have rights of respect and freedom of religion, anyone who says otherwise is not following Islam properly, Prophet Mohamed said "By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe!" It was said, "Who is that, O Allah's Apostle?" He said, "That person whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil." My friend the way i see it, Islam is perfect, Muslims are not.

When I was first converted to Christ, I was naive in the best sense of that word. I was trusting. I believed that everyone who said they were a Christian understood that Christ is the center of Christian; that Christian is about what God has done for us, not what we do for Him; that Christian is being loved as I am, not as I ought to be; that Christian is something that God did inside of me, not just something I worked up through religious observance and compliance.
I soon learned, like many of you, that not everyone who calls themselves Christian, is. As a matter of fact, a lot of people who call themselves Christian are just mean, mad, and messed-up people with a little religious flavor thrown in for good measure. So the question is, “Why are there so many mean people who call themselves Christians?” I don’t know all the answers, but I am sure of this: that until you feel loved, accepted, and worthy, you will never, ever live in a way that you give any of that to anyone else.
Bottom line, if your religion is about working hard and being good, it’s going to make you a weirder version of yourself. But if your faith is in Jesus Christ, the One who loves you, cares for you, accepts you, includes you, adopts you, and will never let you go, then you will, at the core of your life, live as though you were already loved, already accepted, and already promised the guarantee of eternal life. We give what we have and until we have more, we can’t give more. Because I’ve been loved, because I’ve been given grace and mercy, it’s a lot easier for me to live out of the overflow of that reality.
If your faith is dry, dead, and dusty, maybe you need Jesus as a living reality at the core of who you are and why you’re here.

Christians here in the UK claim that this is a Christian country. Most of us know that it's actually a secular democracy.
It's secularism that allows freedom of religion (or none), freedom of individuals to live fulfilling and happy lives, and that allows for civil and human rights. Before secularism there was no protection of minorities such as gay people from hatred and persecution (claimed as "love").
I remember when I was a child in the 1950s that summers were always perfectly sunny and life was easy. I now realise that was selective memory, and now know that my parents struggled to make ends meet.
The moral standards were based on religious or biblical ideas: unmarried women who weren't virgins were disowned and had children taken away from them for adoption, homosexuality was illegal and carried a prison sentence, and white people considered themselves superior to other races. There was no concept of civil or human rights. By the time I started work in 1970 things had improved, but women weren't allowed to wear trousers to work, Health & Safety at work wasn't even a concept, and people actually smoked in the workplace.
In my 60 years, my experience is that morality has generally become more compassionate and we have become more free as we adopt secular ideas that replace religious ones. I wonder what people in 50 years will consider as barbaric that we now consider normal.

I can criticize any religion, but mainly it's because we have more rights than those who live in theocratic governments. I've criticized Islam before and so have others. Don't use a sweeping generalization, it'll end up as a sweeping failure.

I am thankful for the secular movement that fought for freedom from religion if that had not happened in America. We would have the American taliban version in America.

My thanks are that I live in a republic were there is a vast separation of church and state, and not in a Christian or Islamic theocracy.

I am not saying it is bad. But I am saying it could be better. School shootings, murders, rapes, gangs... Does it really sound that good?
