Kinda nervous about court?
Court is soon coming up because I'm fighting an eviction because I got no place else to go. I'm getting evicted for damage; leaking bathtub from falling asleep in it, having a dirty apartment. I cleaned up my act and improved in everything. I had stress and sleep problems for a while hence why I had those problems but now it's under control. I'm real nervous about court because I don't know what to expect and it's about the serious matter of my eviction. I hope the landlady can understand that I want to do better and I promise to do better. I really don't want to be nervous but everytime I think about that nervousness flares up again. Wow I feel like I need to take sedatives or something, I hate it

Everyone hates court and a lot of people feel sick and nauseous due to the anxiety. Just take deep breaths and try to relax your muscles when you start getting nervous.
When you go to court you need to present evidence. Take pictures of your apartment showing that the problems have been fixed. Also get a copy of your lease and read it carefully. Look to see what clauses in the lease support your right to remain.

go to the landlady and explain your plan and show her the property, and how you have cleaned it up. Appeal to her to give you another chance, and assure her that you won't let her down. Then ask her to cancel the eviction hearing. She CAN do that if she believes you.
