Limit on firefox tabs?
Is there a limit on how many firefox tabs you can have open at one time?
If so, what is that limit? Once you hit the limit, do tabs just start getting replaced with newer ones or can you just not make any more?

You can even open more then 1000 tabs in Firefox browser. It all depends on the memory usage made by your browser. If its full enough then your browser/system gets hanged up!!

There shouldn't be a limit that is realistically achievable before you get bottlenecked by other factors such as your computer's RAM and hard disk space. Firefox would probably crash even before it reached the tab limit.
Also, Firefox has a load tab on demand option that does not load tabs on a session restore until you actively click on them. This would allow you to have hundreds of tabs "open", but not loaded.

Fir fox has lots of tabs its' depends on you what you require ? I already use more than 30 tabs at time. you can use ads on Window and Tab Limiter . This extension will automatically close old windows and tabs so you don't wind up with zillions of old windows open at the same time. NEW FEATURES IN 3.0. Password protection....and 3 modes of operation. Default value 10 Tabs you can set more if you require.
