The one good New Year's Eve I had was in Seattle with 3 friends.

That was 2007.

I usually go for years without friends once the last ones get angry at me and abandon me all at once.

That year I watched the firecrackers shoot from the Space Needle, and smoked several cigarettes even though I don't smoke.

I've been friendless for the years since then, and was for years before then.

Oh, and I have to work 9 to 5 tomorrow, so no celebrating for me.

might as well be, my husband of 1 1/2 years just went to bed with his dog. So me and my dog are alone in another part of the house alone.
