When I import videos from my mp4, there is only audio, with a black screen. Why is this?
I got a new MP4 player and I recorded a video that plays back without any issues on the player itself. I imported it onto my laptop, and tried to watch the video, but there was only a black screen with the audio. How can I get the picture back into the video?

You received a black screen because you didn't have the proper codec installed for you video player. Someone else just gave you two links.. but those are NOT the real websites for the items. Be very careful with links that people give you...

I wouldn't really bother with installing additional codeds like K-lite. Sometimes they can cause problems and conflicts. I would recommend just installing VLC and using that to play ALL of your videos and movies.
