Why does my dog gargle at me?
Hi! I have an eight month old Shi-Tzu called Buttons and sometimes he comes right up to my face with his, and gargles...it's definitely not growling it's gargling and most of the time after he does this weird noise he yawns...anyone want to ease my mind with the reason for this weird occurrence?

When my dog comes up and looks at me and makes a 'gargle' sound, it means she wants to play. She's usually wagging her tail while doing this though. ^^
