Can Legal Fees for Termination Of Alimony be a 2012 Tax Deduction?

Can ALL or PART of Legal Fees be classified as a deduction for 2012 Federal Income Tax Returns?

I realize alimony is tax deductible, but are the legal fees to terminate alimony tax deductible??

Thanks!

in maximum situations, no, except it is with regard to the habit of your central employer. some criminal expenses are deductible as Miscellaneous Deductions -- yet are then subjetc to the two% difficulty. See IRS pub 529
