Knowing what we now know, you have to assume that his confession is probably calculated to be the thing that will be to his best advantage. I don't think contrition has anything to do with it

that's punctiliously unacceptable for each physique to take overall performance improving drugs in a interest. think of Roger Federer taking drugs to win his 17 grand slam titles, think of Usain Bolt taking drugs to win the sprints. no longer in basic terms did Lance Armstrong misinform the worldwide yet he lied to his kin and himself. He has dishonored the sport of cycling and in my opinion would not deserve any sympathy. for particular, he battled maximum cancers and he fought long and complicated yet you may think of that could make him a extra useful individual, yet no, he did no longer in basic terms cheat for one excursion de France win, he cheated for 7 and he additionally wasted regulation money, human beings's time and careers on attempting to coach that he did no longer take drugs. there are numerous of alternative cyclists that could have deserved to be wearing that yellow jersey those 7 years that Lance Armstrong used Dope to get his thank you to the surprising. that's a shame that such years are wasted of the solid interest of cycling and Lance Armstrong merits alot extra desirable than what he's getting. he's a liar and a cheat and on the aired interview he did no longer even practice important signs and symptoms of be apologetic approximately, sorrow or perhaps being apologetic. He became in basic terms a face for the digital camera, as though he had to get it over and executed with. take a examine out different nicely widespread activities apologies and that they are lots extra heart felt and sorry, (as an occasion: Tiger Woods). Lance Armstrong, a bully, a cheat, a liar. No Sympathy deserved.

too little too late. he only confussed because he got caught. would have had more respect if he confessed years ago. but no he has his millions from enorcments and other things so him giving back the race winnings doesn't even mean much anymore since he made all his money from his work with nike anyway. he cheated the system and at the end of the day his a millionair for his efforts even if it's a disgraced millionair it's still a millonair.

It was bicycle racing and just another sport that the competitors needed to do more to win. It's not really as if he was an average slob and suddenly became a super athlete due to the performance enhancing drug. I say let all athletes use them so we can get the best competition possible.

Depends on how contrite he is. He's been found out. He's brought
himself and achievements into disrepute not to mention cycling.
He has a lot to apologise for. Personally I think it is fair that his
titles have been scrubbed and banned for life. He should now
completely explain what he did, how it was done and who supported
him. To regain some sort of reputation he should warn kids esp. those
who want to take up cycling seriously the dangers of doping. He should
make himself an example of what not to do.

at this point he could say the sky was blue and nobody would believe him. he needs to go away for a very long time. years. until someone says "whatever happened to that one guy?". but it does explain why sheryl crow broke up with him.
