    1) Yes! I've committed violations. I thought I was asking "Poll" questions, but I was "Chatting".

    2) "Chatting" is asking questions that only the asker and answerers will enjoy, but have no value to anyone else.

Questions like, "What song are you listening to right now?", or "I made it to Level 3! Will you celebrate with me?", are Chat.

"Point-gaming" is just posting any old non-answer to get two points.

Answers like "fffghjkl" or "Two points!" or "Google it" are point-gaming.

    3) Yes, sending false reports will prevent me from being able to remove violations.

    4) Yes, I've taken this 'Open Book' quiz a few times, when I was learning:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/mye/yahoo/answers/moderati...

    5) I aced the Community Guidelines Test, here: *takes a bow*

    http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines...

    6) Yes! I got my 20 points!

    7) Yes, I appeal a violation, by clicking the Link in my Violation Notice.

I do NOT ask what I did wrong. I politely explain what I did right, and I keep it very short.

BONUS: This is the alternate Appeal Form:

I already gave ya a star because this survey IS interesting. ;-)

I'm new around right here, so forgive me if i am doing it flawed however so far I thumbs down any remark I in finding offensive or gut-wrenchingly silly, thumbs up whatever I in finding humorous, and have said questions or comments on a number of occassions but best then for the reason that they have been outrightly racist. Undoubtedly i'm all free of charge-speech, and folks can have opinions on different individuals and things that others would possibly not trust, but inciting racial hatred simply gets my back up, and i suppose the feedback i've pronounced were not justifiable in any experience. I agree that there appears to be various people who abuse the process to attempt to make sure simplest their opinions are those proven, but if the violation process was monitored extra intently this might not be so without problems complete. I get the influence that the minute a query/remark is suggested, it's eliminated and not using a "bigger power" overseeing this approach. If the "trolls" (seem at me all 'down' with the 'lingo') have been recognized and their vigour taken away probably an infringement on free speech would no longer be an issue.

My previous question was reported... I'll stop going into whether they were falsely reported or not... it's just a waste of time appealing!

the system is fairly arbitrary and can fall down when a specialised knowledge base is required to understand the question - in my opinion

the rest of your questions - yes i am familiar with the system
