You can either copy the movie to a flash drive and play it in your Xbox (if you don't have the media update required to play video files, your Xbox will prompt you to connect to the internet and download the update for free). If for some reason that doesn't work or you can't connect your Xbox to the internet, you can import the movie into Windows Movie Maker and save it as a WMV file (the Xbox will play WMV video files even if you don't have the media update installed). If you don't know how to do that, you can also burn the movie onto a blank DVD (provided that you have a blank DVD and a DVD burner in your computer). If you're running Windows Vista or Windows 7, it will have Windows DVD Maker installed, and you can use this to burn your movie.
As a last resort, you can connect your computer to your TV with an HDMI cable (provided that your TV has an HDMI input and your computer has an HDMI output). Go into your sound settings and set the sound to output through HDMI. Then press the Windows key and the "P" key simultaneously. A window will pop up with 4 options: Disconnect Projector, Duplicate, Extend and Projector Only. Select Projector Only and the video should output to your TV.
If your computer doesn't have an HDMI port but you have a flatscreen TV, you can connect your computer with a VGA cable (provided that your TV has a VGA input). From there, you can connect a headphone cable from the headphone jack of your computer and then to the "PC Input" jack on the back or side of your TV (it's usually located close to the VGA input). If it's not a 3.5mm jack, it will probably be two RCA jacks (white and red). From there, you will need a Y-cable with a 3.5mm headphone connector on one end and two RCA connectors on the other end. Connect one end to your laptop and the other end to your TV.
Good luck!

Connect an HDMI cable from your computer to the tv. Make sure that you configure the computer to output the video and audio through the HDMI cable. Hope this will help you out.

It depends on how old you are. Seriously, I'm 30 and I have a 27" tv in my room. Not everyone has a tv in their room at your age (I assume you're in your teens). Personally, I am never allowing my daughter to have a tv in her room. Just save you rmoney. 32" tv is more expensive than you think.
