Windows 8 What happened to my Favorrites Bar?

How do you set up a Favorites Bar......like windows 7 or vista........or do they become apps......

    First open the IE in desktop mode.. not the new IE that you open from the tiles.

    Then right-click anywhere in the top portion of the IE window and you will see Favorites Bar.

    Not sure you can set this up in the metro IE

    IE = internet explorer
