Does health insurance policy gets death claim in accident?

My brother was dead in car accident on 27th Feb 2013 & he was having health policy of royal sundaram.does his family will get death claim or any other benifits.pls help.

    Health insurance covers only hospitalisation cost. Life insurance pays for death.

    Based on my research I don't think the Royal Sundaram health insurance policy includes a death benefit.

    I'm sorry, but your brother cannot have died in the future. Today is Feb 8th (or 9th, depending on where you are right now), so that is still 19 days away.

    In the U.S. health insurance is not the same as life insurance.
