The answer to this question will depend on the local rules of your court and the laws in your state. Attaching assets in your bank account or garnishing your wages are the most common ways that creditors collect on a judgment that the debtor won't pay voluntarily. In some cases, they also can attach any tax refunds that you might receive this year or obtain an order compelling you to sell assets (e.g., your car) to pay off the judgment.
