Sylvania electronics?
I'm considering buying a Sylvania boombox. What's their rep for audio in general? How do they compare to other lower-end electronics like GPX or Cobe? Thanks.

This is my personal opinion and rating on these 3 brands :
1) Coby - pretty well built, a bit more expensive- but more reliable. I would consider their touch screen players (no way would I rate them at the same level like GPX).
2) Sylvania (by MachSpeed also the maker of the brand Trio) - avarage quality. Unlike the Coby I would think twich before getting their touch screen players.
3) GPX - stay away from their products... even in the realm of generics their players are very poorly built and tend to break very fast.
