Business Law question?
Okay, real quick I have 2 questions and I'll explain each of them.
1) Contract Clause, my definition is that a Contract Clause is the clause in the U.S. Constitution that prohibits the government from unreasonably interfering with an existing contract. Okay, I understand this but can someone elaborate a little more, preferably in English (not law lingo) so I can get a better understanding?
2) I just want to make this clear- I am studying for a test, I am not asking for answers for my homework. And I was also wondering, if anyone knows of any websites that might be of some use. Just in case I need help with my other terms that could briefly explain any scenario’s or examples with easier definitions? I'm not trying to be lazy or dumb, I'm just dyslexic and get confused easily, especially with this stuff as I'm beginning to understand.
And no, the movie "My cousin Vinnie" does not help me very much, lol. Anything that could be of use for studying I would greatly appreciate, please and thank you~! :)
(Please try to be considerate with your answers)

Last item first - At the known risk of exposing a problem someone will now have to "address", Cornell seems to load the fastest for my machine http://www.law.cornell.edu/
"No state shall pass any law impairing the Obligation of Contracts" is related to the idea that a Business Agreement exists between a "person" and its "government".
The very first such obligation mentioned is "representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned" at no more than 1 per 50,000 people. Which makes two "obligation(s) of contract" that States cannot lawfully impair; (1)the rate of tax per person for (2)districts of under 50,001 people. Needless to say the Contract Clause is as valuable as any other stain on that toilet paper after 200+ years in that septic tank. Oh, sure, they haul it out and resurrect it forensically when they want China to BUY Our Opium (Roosevelt) or they want South America to "Sell" Us Their Trees (Clinton) - but before the ink dries on those Treaties, the "contract clause" POOFs back to never-never land lest someone gets the idea it really exists as any kind of law.
