What do Buddhist believe?
Like ur basic core beliefs and if u know the worlds origins according to Buddhism. If ud be so kind to keep it simple i dont want a wall tyvm peeps.
Also how a Buddhist can be atheist altho that might explain itself once i see the answers? Tyty <3

The basic Buddhist view is that we (all sentient beings) have been in uncontrolled cyclic rebirth (called Samsara) since beginningless time. Since our mental continuum has no beginning or end there is no end to our mental experience. This world came into existence through causes and conditions and will disappear when the causes and conditions for its existence cease, like a rainbow in the sky.
Buddhists believe that mind is the creator of all so we do not believe in a theistic creator god. However, we do honor Buddha, our teacher. Since our mind has created our suffering world for itself, it is our responsibility to end our suffering through practicing the Buddhist spiritual path. This is the basic buddhist intention- to end our suffering and the suffering of all living beings.

The Buddha doesn't mention gods.
Buddhists can be atheist, agnostic, and even Christian.
It is more of a philosophy than a religion.
I believe in reincarnation, past lives That we all have souls. Karma. Living a good, peaceful life.
I meditate. We are here to learn and attain enlightenment; ie: achieving Nirvana.

Reincarnation. Peace, and kindness (opposite of Christianity) They dont have scare tactics (opposite of christianity)
Most buddhists are atheists.
