Grinding/buzzing sound coming from front end of vehicle?

I'm driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage, automatic transmission.

Recently I started hearing an occasional grinding/buzzing noise coming from my car, only at highway speeds of 50+ mph (sounds like the front end). Today, this seemed to happen more often than in the past few weeks, leading me to believe the problem may be getting worse.

Any ideas what I might be dealing with?

Thanks all.

Good enough, i am a mechanic. Without doubt don't put thicker oil in ur vehicle. That simplest labored within the autos older than 1987. With more moderen automobiles there r passages which are alot smaller so thicker oil does no longer lubricate these parts as well and reasons accelerated put on or can cause failure. Now on to ur query. When you consider that it's an inter-mitten noise u have to take ur mechanic for a ride so u can exhibit them what the noise is for starters. It might be something unfastened within the suspension or countless matters. I need slightly extra data on the noise to be competent to expectantly give u some higher answers.

Do you really want people to guess base on your written word of what it sounds like?

Okay! You probably ran into a bee's nest and that's the buzzing. The grinding sound is they are probably sharpening up their stingers to get you.
