What Oakely tint is best for slow pitch softball?

Looking at Black Iridium, Fire Iridium, Ice Iridium, and VR28 Black Iridium. I play outfield, and want the yellow softball to really stand out in the sky if it's either clear or cloudy. I want it to be as versatile as possible for really sunny to cloudy as well. Not worried about night games.

I've looked at the tint simulator on Oakley's website, so don't direct me there as it's not helping.

Vr28 is going to be your most versatile lens.

Your list of "wants" is more than just 1 lens can handle. You want enhanced contrast for cloudy, but that's only found in lenses that aren't that dark in bright sunny conditions. So, the VR28 is a contrast enhancing lens, but it's not as harsh as the other contrast enhancing lenses.

BI, and Ice are both grey based lenses and don't offer very much contrast enhancement. Fire is also a rather dark lens but does have some contrast enhancement. VR28 has a much higher contrast rating but it is still dark enough to give you some of that "sun cutting" that you are looking for with your wish list.

BTW, NO SUnglasses are going to make that softball "glow" like a giant orb when it's up in the sky. Just a thought.
