my Aussie is 3 months old and she is 27 pounds!?

i have a 3 month and 18 day old female Aussie and she is 27 pounds, is she big for her age? she is not fat, in fact she is a bit thin. what would you guess that she will weigh when she is an adult?

    Do you have a picture? Are you positive she's purebred?

    A 27 lb 3 month old, especially one that isn't at all overweight, is pretty large for the breed. Females typically top off anywhere around 30-55 lbs (though weight isn't specified in the standard) and as she's already on the lower end of that I'd say she's going to be pretty large.

    Of course there certainly are breeders out there who think that Aussies are supposed to be these large animals when they're not so it's entirely possible they were shooting for a larger dog.
